Internet Explorer 1.0 build 66 is the earliest known and available build of Internet Explorer 1.0 and Internet Explorer as a whole. It is included in Microsoft Plus! 95 Build 50.

Findings

  • Proxy server support is present, but a user interface to change the setting is not implemented. Configuration must be done via Registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Services\Proxy_Server
