Windows Me Build 3000 是 Windows Me 的官方 RTM 版本，于 2000 年 6 月 19 日发布[1]，并于 2000 年 9 月 14 日正式发布。这是有史以来最后一个在 Windows 9x 内核下编译的 Windows 版本，标志着自 Windows 95 以来 Microsoft 的 16/32 位混合操作系统系列的结束。

Yes kids, its finally here ! This is the real deal !
This is NOT some doctored OEM version. All files are dated 09/14/00
which just happens to be about the time ME is supposed to hit the stores.
Its bootable, Upgradeable, and has all the extra shit you
will never use or need, that Uncle Billy thought you should
have forced on you in an OS. Enjoy this fine release from iFXP !
Install Notes: Burn with CDRWIN. You can clean install, or upgrade
your existing Windows 98 or 95.

预发布组件

Neptune 参考
在此 Windows Me 版本中找到名为 ICMUI.DLL 的文件，版本号为 5.50.5117.1，但尚不清楚是否曾经编译过此 Neptune 版本。
有人推测这将是 Milestone 2 的版本。它们将在 1999 年 12 月 11 日之后的某一天被编译，这意味着它们将成为 2000 年 1 月 Neptune 项目被取消之前的最后的 Neptune 版本。
