The boot screen bitmap file was updated, resulting in the removal of the copyright date and a font change from Arial to Trebuchet MS. This change also persists in [[Windows XP Service Pack 2]] kernel. Additionally, internal checks in the <code>DisplayBootBitmap</code> function were rewritten by adding checks for SKUs such as Storage Server 2003 and Compute Cluster Edition. To accommodate this, client checks were removed, which resulted in the removal of text labels for x86 counterparts such as “Professional” and “Home Edition". This didn't reflect AMD64 edition counterpart, by simply replacing it's bitmap from "64-Bit Edition" to "x64 Edition". | |||
