PowerShell（<code>pwsh.exe</code>，原名 <code>powershell.exe</code>）是一款开源命令行解释程序，最早随 [[Windows 7]] 一起引入，旨在用于自动化任务和配置系统功能。它克隆了早期解释器 <code>cmd.exe</code> 的大部分语法，但通过使用专用脚本语言进行了扩展。PowerShell 中的命令被称为“cmdlet”（命令小程序），其名称由动词和名词组成，并以连字符连接，例如 <code>Get-Command</code>。

虽然版本 1.0 到 5.1 是闭源的，但从版本 6.0 起是开源的，其代码使用了高度宽松的 MIT 许可证。从版本 7.2 开始，PowerShell 在 Windows 上使用 [[Windows 更新]]来更新自身。此功能是可选的，可以禁用。
