Windows Server build 26404 is an Insider Preview build of Windows Server based on the Germanium codebase. It was released to Windows Insiders on 1 May 2025.

New features and changes
Features
The following features and changes introduced previously in client builds have been ported to Windows Server, albeit being disabled by default:
- The voice access toggle switch in the Accessibility page in Quick Settings (can be activated manually by enabling the
56724497velocity staging key). - Update to the Accessibility page in Quick Settings with new grouping by vision, hearing, motor and mobility (can be activated manually by enabling the
56887314velocity staging key). - The rejuvenated "Rename your Printer" dialog (can be activated manually by enabling the
55677794velocity staging key).
Settings
- The System → For developers page has been revamped to Advanced with new layout and several features from Dev Home. This page is disabled by default.
- The Privacy & security → Generative AI page, initially implemented in build 26236 but removed in later builds, has been updated to Text and image generation and re-added to this build. This page is disabled by default.
Quirks
This build is incorrectly labeled as "Windows 11" in Windows Update.
