Windows Home Server Build 1424 是 Windows Home Server 的官方 Release Candidate 版本，于 2007 年 6 月 12 日发布。[1]安装程序界面已经更新，使用 RTM 版本中的 Windows Vista 式设计。
Winver 中的横幅也更新为 RTM 版本中的最终设计。
Bug
- 水印上的版本名称是“Windows Windows Home Server”（包括两个“Windows”实例，而非一个实例），而非“Windows Home Server”。
