Build 1518 is now available for download. This build is provided for developers
and other users who need current builds in order to develop Memphis specific
features. It is not recommended for use on production or your only PCs. You do not
need to download this build. This is an interim build on the way to Beta 1. If you do
decide to test it, we welcome your feedback using the normal bug reporting tools.
This build will only be available for download. It will not be available on CD.
**WARNING & DISCLAIMER**
Microsoft does not recommend that you install build 1518. This build is provided
for development and testing purposes on an as-is basis. This is an interim build
we do not consider beta release quality.
At Microsoft, we have daily Memphis builds. Occasionally we make these interim
builds available to development partners and beta testers for development
purposes, as well as for limited beta testing. Although the Memphis team uses
these daily builds on our production computers and believe that this build's quality
is adequate , we recommend that you only install 1518 on a test machine - and you
do so at your own risk.
You should note before installing this build that the daily builds are not stabilized
nor rigorously tested prior to release. You may find key features are not functional
in this build. We will document significant issues we are aware of in the Known
Issues Web page and Release Notes.
This is not Beta 1, despite what the setup splash screens and logo bitmaps may
say. This is just a weekly internal build that we have decided to release for limited
external testing. At some point, as we approach beta 1, we have to check in these
changes to our source code tree, and test them, along with other features & bug
fixes. We are still a while away from our Memphis Beta 1 release, but we have
switched the bitmaps and setup text files. We will clearly let you know when we
reach Beta 1, and will send a CD out to all beta test sites.
Before Running Setup
Please ensure you download ALL ZIP files before
beginning setup, and unzip all of them successfully. If you
do not have all the files, setup may not complete.
Online Bug Reporting/Internet Update
Currently Internet Explorer 4.0 is unable to load the ActiveX
controls needed to utilize both the Internet System Update
and the Memphis Bug Reporting tool. Consequently neither
will work. Both should be fully functional in the near future. In
the interim, you can use the MSReport tool to report
problems.
Internet Explorer 4.0 Shell
This build contains an interim build of IE 4. This build will
probably not browse the internet very robustly. If you need
to use the web, we do not recommend that you install this
build on your machine. This build does not contain the
integrated shell. Both of these will be in future interim builds
and in Beta 1.

Bug
安装
- 此版本的安装程序包括的
