Windows 8 build 8137 is a pre-Consumer Preview/Beta build of Windows 8, which was shared on 26 October 2024.
New features and changes
Branding
A new "Windows 8 Beta" branding is used in System Properties and the winver banner. However, some parts of the build, including the boot screen and setup, still mention "Windows Developer Preview".
Out-of-box experience
The ability to change the accent color has been re-added to the OOBE (although with 8 colors instead of 25 colors).
Bugs and quirks
Disk Cleanup crashes while calculating disk cost savings.
