New features and changes
General
- Windows Media Player is no longer pinned to the taskbar by default.
- MSHelp is now a WinRT-based application.
Redpill
The Start screen accents are enabled by default and the rendering issues have been fixed.
ISO volume label
The ISO volume label format has changed from BIIIVXXXZZZ_LL_DVD to BIII_XXXA_YYYZZZO_LL-LL_FFF, where:
- B - Release ID (H in this version)
- III - Development stage (M1, Beta, etc)
- V - Client (C) or Server (S)
- XXX - Edition (x for unstaged releases, none for multisku releases)
- ZZZ - build flavor (FRE/CHK)
- YYY - architecture
- O - Volume licensed config or not
- LL-LL - Language and region respectively
- FFF - image format, (DV5/9 (for DVD) or ESD (Windows 8+ Media Creation Tool/Windows 10 versions between 1507 and 1703)
