New features and changes
Branding
The desktop wallpaper has been changed to a plain dark green background featuring a wordoku puzzle with the leak warning. This wordoku would eventually be solved to form "Start Me Up".
Redpill
The default lock screen wallpaper is no longer synced with the desktop wallpaper, which instead shows a part of img23.
SKU removals
All E SKUs have been removed in this build.
Bugfixes
This build fixes the issue involving the Arial font being incorrectly used on the title bars and desktop watermark, which had been present since build 7865. It now uses the correct font, which is Segoe UI.
Bugs and quirks
Setup
The last word of status messages shown when starting Setup and before the computer reboots into OOBE is cut off.
Shell
Enabling EnableAccent not only causes rendering issues, it also makes the Start screen unresponsive for around half a minute after login.
Aero
Only the top portion of the window frame is blurred when using the Windows Aero theme, leaving the side borders transparent.
Login
The login sound plays three times after login.
Bugcheck
When a bugcheck that uses BcpDisplayEarlyBugCheckScreen occurs, the new early crash screen is unreadable, leaving random blank spaces. It says:
