新增功能和更改

用户界面

“开始”按钮的设计略有更改，不再在其周围包含轻微的斜角。默认情况下，快速启动栏被禁用，现在可以通过蓝牙在计算机之间传输文件。

品牌

默认壁纸被 betta fish（斗鱼，本身是“beta”一词的双关语）所取代，它吹出七个气泡（参考操作系统的名称）。

Windows 恢复环境

如果重复启动失败，Windows 启动管理器现在将自动运行配置的 Windows 恢复环境启动条目（并设置了额外的标志以调用启动修复）。

Bug

外观和个性化

在 Aero 主题之间切换时，“tada”音效被切断。
Windows 经典和高对比度主题的图标无法正确显示。
默认情况下，Windows 经典主题使用较粗的边框。

Places bar（地点栏）

从早期版本升级

从旧版本（特别是 Build 6608）升级时，安装程序将在“安装功能和更新”阶段遇到错误。升级失败，并显示错误消息：

"This version of Windows cannot be installed to this computer. One or more disk volumes were formatted in an incompatible way by a newer version of Windows.
