Windows 10 Team (internally known as PPIPro), is a specialized version of the Windows 10 operating system designed for interactive whiteboards, released exclusively for the Surface Hub whiteboard family. Unlike other desktop editions of Windows 10, the Team edition utilizes a full-screen user interface that emphasizes on collaborative teleconferencing, drawing and resource sharing within a business. The first release of Windows 10 Team reached general availability on 25 March 2016, after multiple delays in shipping timelines for the first-generation Surface Hub whiteboard family.
The operating system also includes a set of otherwise separately available applications that primarily focus on data visualization, such as the Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Whiteboard.
The latest version, Windows 10 Team 2022 Update reached end of support on 14 October 2025. It was originally intended to be succeeded by Surface Hub OS, a separate Windows Core OS-based release but was cancelled alongside the Surface Hub 2X. A planned update originally scheduled for 2021 was additionally cancelled in favor of migrating existing Surface Hub devices to the Teams Room on Windows software package running on top of Windows 11.
Components for the Team edition itself continued to be compiled up to Windows 11 2023 Update. Although neither pre-installed on any Surface Hub devices nor officially available in other ways, installation images for the SKU can be created manually using community tools that fetch packages from the Unified Update Platform (UUP).
