'''Windows 8 build 7971''' is an unleaked Milestone 3 build of [[Windows 8]], which was released on Microsoft Connect to OEM partners around 13 April 2011. Two screenshots of this build have been found, one on the MyDigitalLife forums, the other on BetaArchive<ref>https://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=209873#p209873</ref>. While there are also many other screenshots claiming to be this build, most of them are fake.
