This build implements support for the [[Hyper-V]] hypervisor on client Windows editions, resulting in two new Hyper-V related features being added to the existing Windows Features subset: the Hyper-V hypervisor itself and its corresponding GUI- and command-line-facing tools (<code>virtmgmt.msc</code>, <code>vmconnect.exe</code> and PowerShell commandlets). In contrast to the RTM release of Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, Hyper-V will temporarily pause the startup sequence to ask the user to enable virtualization CPU extensions on the host side if the virtualization subsystem (<code>hvax64</code>) fails to initialize, rather silently failing and recording details to the Windows event log
