It was scene leaked by warez group Pirates with Attitudes on 6 November 1997, and was repacked the next day by SLiCeR with most (if not all) of the OSR 2.5-related additions missing. The repacked warez leak by SLiCeR was later rediscovered and shared online on 29 December 2017,<ref>https://www.betaarchive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=428181#p428181</ref> followed by the original Pirates with Attitudes leak featuring a more complete copy of the build on 12 June 2025; the USB Supplement components are absent in both releases.
