A new [[Windows Presentation Foundation|Avalon]]-based display settings applet was added, which replaces the classic Display applet. This Display applet is however largely incomplete, with only the Desktop Background and Use Classic Display Control Panel options functioning properly. As a result, the Theme and Screen Saver options are under construction, while Scale and Resolution and Display Connection Settings crash the applet.
